Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go Analog Editions do not work with DVI or Component outputs on Hippotizer V3 R2 cases. Connecting Matrox analog editions of DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go to the outputs of a V3 R2 (rack mount with vertical mounted CD/DVD drive) Hippotizer result in incorrect or no output devices being detected. This is because the output connections on the back of the R2 are not backward compitbale with data requirements of the Matrox Analog devices. NOTE: This only applies to using Analog (D-Sub) DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go devices. Digital (DVI) are not affected. Workaround; 1- If possible use the digital version of the product. Or 2- If you cannot use a digital equivalent, you could remove the connector panel and connect the Matrox device to the graphics card directly. |
