Post subject:  ZooKeeper works fine, but can't close

Symptoms:
ZooKeeper works fine, but can't close. Desktop layouts are missing.
In log there are a lot of messages (exceptions about Settings)

Reason:
Settings file which is managed by windows has become corrupted. (at least this is my guess)

To fix:
you will need to copy the below into the address bar in my computer.
if you cannot see the address bar you will need to right click on the cream coloured area next to the search and folders button and make sure address bar is ticked.

you may see the word address appear but no bar. You will then need to drag the address tab down below the back and foward button.

The following folder address:

C:Documents and Settings\VJ\Local Settings\Application Data\Green_Hippo

And delete any content.
This forces the settings file to be re-written next time the application is started.

note for 3.0.11c:

Problem: When using ZooKeeper version 3.0.11c it appears to work fine but you cannot exit out of the progam or close it by clicking on the close button forcing you to use the task manager to shut the program down.

Also the ability to recall or save a desktop layout does not work and any saved desktop layouts are missing.

Resolution: This problem occurs because the configuration file for ZooKeeper has become corrupted. To fix it, this file needs to be deleted. Follow these steps;

1- In Windows Explorer, browse to the following location;

C:Documents and Settings\VJ\Local Settings\Application Data\Green_Hippo

Note: if you cannot see the folder, it is because the folder is hidden. To workaround this you should be able to copy and paste the path above into the address bar in windows explorer.

2- Once you have located the folder. Delete any content.

3- Next time the ZooKeeper application is started it will recreate that data. Any previous custom layouts cannot be restored.
