Green Hippo’s software has always been on the pace, and Hippotizer version 3.2.1. offers a host of new features and a tuning-pack that provides more horsepower and improved handling. Hippotizer v3.2.1 manages to improve usability whilst adding a range of features to bolster the creativity and efficiency that remains a Hippotizer trademark. Hippotizer is renowned for its power on complex performances and this release makes the fast ‘on the fly’ shows easy and fun. Cross Fade on layer means ‘busking’ is now fast and easy while manual and automated transitions make events like grass-roots rock n roll or an 8-hour TV telethon reassuringly simple. Add to this a much-improved sound analyser in the form of BeatBridge and suddenly ‘seat of your pants’ operation becomes ‘confidently creative’. This new level of fast operation is boosted by a series of major changes to the way presets are created and applied. Revised filtering and changes to preset record settings along with better save and recall options add to the fun of fast flowing shows and boost efficiency in complex setups. A revised user interface makes navigation simpler and now has fine-tuned layouts for smaller screen sizes plus a Master Canvas view built in. Green Hippo has listened to users who rely heavily on timecode for their playback needs and have implemented a timecode FlyWheel. If any or all of your servers lose timecode feeds the FlyWheel will take over keeping your show running with near frame accurate playback until signal is regained. Version 3.2.1 is available free of charge from the Green Hippo website and is suitable for installation on HippoCritter, GrassHopper, HippoPortamus and HD models. |
