The question has been up, if I will go for a HD Hippotizer unit, can I then have 2 x HD or SD SDI cards ( or three) in the same unit?? Will it work and would I have option to use simple mode and fade between the inputs?? as a simple way to use a videomixer and still have my backgrounds running... Now I have Critter thats is very good, but have not the resolution of course, so I did get this question from a client..... And where is there price for the HD SDI cards and are the on the market today?? |

hi Kent, at the moment only 1 SDI card can be installed, the normal SD SDI card is a singleinput card, there is ongoing research for cards with multiple inputs, the Hippo is very specific with drivers so most likely the result you get with other cards might dissapoint you. Same goes for the HD SDI card, 1 input, either SD or HD. For costs, in Sweden, you need to consult with Peppe. BTW, we are going to do a live tv show over here in Finland where we intend to run live HD cameras through a Hippo v3 HD and straight out broadcasted live on national tv.
