Maybe this units can be useful to control a timeline ...( by midi ) ???
Any ideas???
They looks so cool and can maybe be useful?

We have often used the Behringer BCF 2000 Midi controller with the Hippotizer. Its very inexpensive but has some good features. Perhaps the best being motorised faders which mean that you avoid the 'jump' when a value has changed but the fader hasn't moved with the value. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/BCF2000.aspx

Since we introduced the MIDI learn function you can assign so much to this console I find it invaluable.

One other point: At the moment, if you run ZooKeeper you can't have a MIDI console next to it because ZooKeeper doesn't support MIDI and other control items. However, after recent discussions we have concluded that being able to control systems remotely with ZooKeeper means these options MUST be in ZooKeeper. So in the next version of the software we will include this functionality.
