I want a module in the Hippo, wich allows me to fake an EDID without connecting anything to my outputgraphiccard !!
The best solution would be, to have the option to force any resolution without using the controlcenter of the graphicdriver.
Its also very important to choose between 50 and 60 Hz in the enginesettings.

I know, thats not easy, but whats life without challenges ??

How great should this not be??? Goodbye DVI detectives and all crap that just get lost or broken.

A possibility to choose your output settings and "Lock" this setting, and in that case knows that this setting is suppose to be provided
on the leds or whatever you are doing. A great challange for the English brainers that had come a long way just making this Hippos.

I have done a lot of research on Faking EDID. It is absolutely possible in the Registry setting.
I would love to do it. but would in not complicate matters when trying to connect to an external source. if you have locked the Registry settings to output 1920 x 1080 and you are trying to connect to a 1024 x 768 monitor.

I can see a lot of tech support calls.

A Output Connection wizard is another idea.

Maybe the wizard would solved the previous problem.

So in short it is in peoples minds but we are busy fixing our demanding user request from last week ;)

we totaly feel for you guys!! :-)

Just feel good that you have user requests!!! if not, you had to start sell parcans......hmmmm...
I think the idea is good, a wizerd that can do the trick.Maybe a standalone thing that are for the brave and clever ones!

I am pretty sure that you are able to sort out the good request´s and throw away the stupid ones!!!
