Post PLASA 2008
Great to be back, but it was very good to visit the show this year, Hippo guys did show the new items, struggling around in the deep jungle with voice that
was no more and handling beer to keep the monkeys inside the fence!

I was impressed about the Screenthief, really cool. And that will be useful as so many want to spice up their powerpoints and so...
HippoCritter, great and to a very good price! Look´s like something ripped out of a carstereo and same size! Would fit the need of a cheap and still
powerful unit with the Hippo software that makes the trick!

Also the ScreenPaint, to be able to mask out places and shapes and then grab them to your mask bank, I will look forward to when they really get it
into the software final. Beziers and stuff, using a very simple paint app but with the output in realtime.

The Portamus seems cool, a Dell laptop that are squeesed to the maximum, filled with Hippo software and should be great for lot of users.
Anyway the thing that seems to be the great hit was Nigel´s animated animals on screens in the stand, talking with the voice of several persons with
a dialog that made the ( almost halfdrunk) visitors to laugh loud!!....:-) Even our beloved Ola Melzig was made as a tiger or something that filled me with love,
since I always see him as a "animal".....

I thought the new entry model HippoCritter was really interesting, helps smaller stages and theatres to afford a Hippotizer system.

I also have to agree about the Screenthief and Screenpaint features.

Oooops! My mistake, should have been listening more than fooling around in Earl´s Court with other people,
But, what the heck!! It is actually a screenpainter, lightpaint is almost the same name as some old swedish colorscrollers.....
I am of course ,NOT in charge to name anything ( even if I should!!! :-)
