and we like Datapath aswell.... We at RGB do have at the moment 9 GrassHoppers with Datapath`s Duals SD/HDSDI card. Also the 4+1 is in use 2 of them infact (DVI + 4xComposite). And all our HD units now carry a Dual DVI + a Dual SD/HDSDI card. Very reliable and stable. And the latency is close to nothing. However, I miss embedded audio in the SDI, that then again works with some other brands but gives you an unwanted latency. Just as a small info, we used during Nokia World 2011 for the main presentation HD units in Dual Mode with ÜberPan running 2 SDI feeds and 2 DVI feeds capturing all PowerPoints and Keynote presentations. The projection canvas was 50m x 8m in size. Also the Expo area had Hippos, 9 GrassHoppers, 1 HD and one Portamus, we created a very wide projection canvas that was 25 projectors wide... Johan |
