You can control the Hippotizer with a DMX Tail.
This consists of a DMX to USB connection.
Hippotizer only supports through DMX TAILS .
Controlling Hippotizer uses around 455 channels of DMX. This will give you full control of all features on all _layer_s.
You can use 4 channels to control pre-made timelines.
This gives the user control over the whole Hippotizer using just 4 channels.
In Dual mode output the limit is 4 layers on each output,.

DMX Tail is a option and can be bought from us or from Green Hippo Ltd.

Hippotizer can be controlled in different ways through DMX.
As standard Hippotizer can be controlled over Art-Net.
This is controlled using one of the two network ports on the back of the Hippotizer. Local Area Connection 2 on the back of the unit is used for DMX Control this should be set to an IP address of 2.0.0.?.

Local Area Connection 1 is utilized for HippoNet.

You can also control the Hippotizer with a DMX Tail. This consists of a DMX to USB connection.

This is similar to the feature of recalling presets in version 2.

If you have Artnet, NO need for a dmx tail
All Hippos are fitted with one HippoNet port and one standard network port.
