Post Hippoportamus and inputs
Hi all!

Is it possible to use multiple USB-inputcards in the hippoportamus? So i can have like three or four composite inputs?

If not, how much lag you think it woud be if we do this:

composite input -> USB capture device -> laptop -> ScreenThief -> Hippoportamus?

And also, can i use ScreenThief on multiple sending computers simuntainiously (how the fuck do you spell that word?) ? Aka showing different inputs on differnt parts of the screen.

Best

Currently on the portamus you can only use one Single composite input card as the driver is not allowing us to use more than one as it comes up with the same ID name.
Hippo currently not support any other input cards as most of the are doing half PAL resolution or they cause the system to crash because they use too much processing. Screen Thief is currently only doing Unicast so you can only capture it from one Hippo at the time.

A GrassHopper, with a datapath 8 x composit? and / or using ScreenThief on multiply laptops and send it to the Hopper?
I understand the question was regarding the Portamus, and that will not do the trick!
