Post subject:  VGA output workaround on the new model

When using the old V3 case the DVI connector at the back had a combination of pins to allow you to use either a DVI or DVI to VGA connector. However because it´s now have a split of DVI and RGBHV the pins you previously used in the DVI connector to give VGA are not there anymore because they go to the RGBHV connection (the 5 BNC connectors below the DVI one). However it is still possible if you use the RGBHV connector,(5 BNC to VGA, see picture)

I did found out ( and several people around the world ) that one factory in Taiwan or whatever country that make this ones on OEM for many brands
(Deltaco etc. ) had one idiot working there, and the result was that the H is switched with the V markings!
So if you have problems with a total black screen, no contact with it, try to switch the H (horisontal sync ) and the V (Vertical sync ) on the cable....

Good to know! ( all my suppliers have noticed the same, so when you buy one in a store, the are often nice to tell you this.....)
