It seems that some problems show up in some situations when importing a timeline. The issue is that the symbol for the timeline component turns into a "hourglass" that´s indicate it is doing something. and / or a message turns up and give a message " waiting for component"... This will for shure end up in a crash. It is looking for something that is not there , or corrupt. This indicate that the stored timeline has lost the connection to the machine / timeline component. They just don´t have the right ID or something. One solution can be this: 1.Delete the existing timeline component 2.Turn off zookeeper and engine. 3.Restart engine and later ZooKeeper 4.Add a new Timeline Component 5.Import the timeline Hopefully this works, or maybe the timeline was exported corrupt or some other issue. Components are the base in Zookeeper and Hippo, they are parts that you can make magic with ( and also get totaly insane with when you don´t really understand them!) |
